Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice, Arundel
Chestnut Tree provides respite care, care in the community, sibling support, psychological support, end of life care and bereavement support for life-limited children aged 0-18 years and their families from across West and East Sussex.
The Foundation has been able to fund a monthly Youth Club at Chestnut Tree House, providing the same activities and opportunities that the teenagers would expect but the environment will be suited to their specialist needs. The sessions will be facilitated by professional staff - nurses and care support workers - who are able to meet the specialist health needs of each individual child. Activities will include special themed evenings, a pool party in our hydrotherapy pool, disco, karaoke and games nights. Food and refreshments will be included.
