7.2.2008 Wallace & Gromit’s Wrong Trousers Day 2008 will take place on Friday 27th June.  You can join thousands of children in schools and nurseries for a musical extravaganza to celebrate the first musical Wrong Trousers Day and raise money to help sick children in hospitals and hospices across the UK. You decide what to wear and how to celebrate, just use your musical talents and creativity and most importantly having fun! Southampton University Students 5K Wrong Trousers Run !!

I'm the Student South West and Wales Regional Representative for the for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). As a region last we decided to adopt your charity for the all of fundraising activities, which is why this event came about. In proper student style we also did a social night out the day after the 5 k run. Myself and 3 other CSP representatives from Southampton university arranged the event as a bit of fun to bring the year groups together and to obviously raise money for a very worthy cause. It was a really great turn out and everyone made a real effort

All the students that took part were physiotherapy students based at Southampton University and the run was held at the Common in Southampton. The event was a real success (luckly we had some very good weather!) and we hope to do the same each year!
