Wendy Hector is an inspiration to all those around her for her dedication to her lovely daughter Anna and her wonderful fundraising efforts. Anna was born with Enchondromatosis, commonly known as Olliers Disease. A condition which can deform and shorten a limb. Before Anna’s diagnosis, Wendy had never run before, but when a close friend suggested taking part in a Half Marathon, Wendy was truly inspired….’it was such a wonderful event with a fantastic atmosphere, it made me realise that I really wanted to be part of it and I knew that with Anna behind me I could do it.’ Since then Wendy has run 2 half marathons and raised an amazing £5000 with the support of friends, families and her employers who have matched her fundraising £ for £.

If Wendy and Anna have inspired you to take up the challenge of running a Half Marathon or even a Marathon in aid of the Foundation, then contact us on 0845 600 1924 or email us at info@wrongtrousersday.org.
