What We Do

Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation is a national children’s health charity, fundraising to improve the quality of life for sick kids in children’s hospitals and hospices throughout the UK. The Foundation works with a network of children’s hospitals and hospices to provide the very best comforts and facilities available.
Hospitals can be frightening enough if you’re an adult, but for a child it can seem like another world; strange rooms, needles, tubes, medicine and funny smells can all combine to make a stay in hospital uncomfortable.
Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation is here to try and help. The Foundation provides funding to support projects such as:
Arts, music play and entertainment programmes
to stimulate young minds and divert attention away from illness.
Providing welcoming and accessible environments
and surroundings, designed specifically for children in a fun and engaging way.
Funding Education and Information Programmes
to educate young people and recognising the importance of self help and health related issues.
Helping to fund the acquisition of medical facilities, which can help to improve diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions and illnesses in children.
Sustaining family relationships
helping to keep families together during emotionally difficult times.
Helping to meet the cost of care in a children’s hospice
where children and their families are cared for during good days, difficult days and last days.
Supporting children with physical and emotional difficulties
empowering and increasing confidence.
